The MetroStars’ search for an established forward is finally done, as The Post has learned the club completed its on-again, off-again trade for Columbus’ Ante Razov.

The Crew striker had lost his starting spot and then his playing time altogether, but is a favorite of Metros coach Bob Bradley.

Two sources have confirmed that the deal will be announced today, with the Metros giving up part of an allocation and forward John Wolyniec in an exchange of left-footed forwards.

Razov, 31, could pair with Youri Djorkaeff, or likely team with Abbe Ibrahim and push Djorkaeff back into a more natural midfield role.

After mustering one goal through the first five games, Razov lost his starting spot to Cornell Glen. He hasn’t started since April 30, hasn’t played at all since May 14, and openly campaigned for a trade.
