Unlike having to fly to Arizona for a useless game against Chivas, the Red Bulls are genuinely looking forward to tomorrow’s tilt with FC Barcelona. Coach Juan Carlos Osorio wants to testing rookie winger Danleigh Borman at forward, a position the speedy South Africa may have to fill if they can’t acquire any of the four striker’s they’re targeting.

Osorio is hoping to see his new-and-improved defense against the likes of Eto’o and Henry; Diego Jimenez is ready to go and Gabriel Cichero was getting his visa today and hoping to have his ITC card in time for the 7 p.m. tilt.

He’s also hoping his team not only gains some confidence against the Spanish powerhouse but makes a good impression internationally. He said players in South and Central America have developed good impressions of MLS, and a high-profile tilt like this will draw attention.
