Rutgers landed its fourth football recruit in 10 days when blue-chip center Mark Brazinski chose the Scarlet Knights at a press conference at Immaculata High School in Somerville, N.J.
The third four-star recruit in the Class of 2009, he picked Rutgers over Florida State, Boston College and Penn.
The 6-3, 297-pound lineman joins DL Michael Larrow, DE Jordan Hill and Raleigh (N.C.) RB Desmond Scott as commits coach Greg Schiano has landed in the past week-and-a-half.
Scott and Brazinski, like QB commit Tom Savage from Pennsylvania, are four-star prospects, according to rivals.com.
âRutgers was a place where I just got a really good feel,” Brazinski told rivals.com. He has a 3.6 GPA and older brothers playing at Penn and Bucknell. âI’ve been there more than double-digit times, and each time I left feeling more satisfied than when I arrived. It has everything I wanted.”
