It is language better suited for HBO.

Dallas Braden briefly addresses Alex Rodriguez on “Real Sports” debuting Tuesday.

The A’s pitcher and Yankees third baseman had a verbal altercation during a game on April 22 when Rodriguez crossed back to first base over Braden’s mound.

It led to Braden saying he’d be willing to have a fistfight with Rodriguez if that’s what it took to get his point across.

“I told him, ‘Stay the f*** off my mound,’ is exactly what I said to him,” Braden tells HBO reporter Frank Deford. “I just felt like it was just a lack of respect for our team, for myself, for the game.”

Braden pitched a perfect game against the Rays on May 9, bringing the grandmother who raised him into the spotlight and leading to the HBO segment.

“He’s a little bit like a Yorkshire Terrier. He doesn’t know how big he is and he doesn’t know his size, but he’s got the heart of a lion,” A’s GM Billy Beane said of Braden.
