Pete Sampras vs. Roger Federer packed the Garden in March 2008 for an exhibition match that created so much more buzz than four top women playing a one-night tournament that next year’s event will feature another golden oldie: Andre Agassi.
Agassi, the 39-year-old U.S. Open fan favorite and eight-time Slam champion, will be the main attraction next Feb. 28, The Post has learned, perhaps against his old rival Sampras, perhaps against Andy Roddick.
Adding to the card in a yet-to-be determined format will be Steffi Graf, the 44-year-old 22-time Slam winner and Agassi’s wife.
