Andrei Arshavin’s agent said the Russian midfielder is the top transfer target for Arsenal, and that head Gunner Arsene Wenger wants his client the way he wants Angelina Jolie. But he admits we don’t always get what we want.

“We know that Arsene Wenger likes the look of Arshavin. But I like the look of Angelina Jolie, and it doesn’t always mean you get what you want,” agent Lachter told the Daily Mirror. “Arsenal were interested in signing him last summer and they still are, so we will wait and see what happens. There has been a lot of interest in him this time as well from England, Spain and Italy.”

The 27-year-old Zenit St Petersburg star has been told he leave in the transfer window next month…for the right price. Tottenham, Arsenal, Real Madrid and Barcelona have all been linked with Russian, but Wenger has already admitted he’s looking for a playmaker in the wake of Cesc Fabregas’ injury.
