After a career in the lower English leagues, ex-Notts Country striker Luke Rodgers is joining the Red Bulls, where he’ll partner with French World Cup and Champions League winner Thierry Henry up front.

“It sounds mad, doesn’t it? He’s a legend,’’ Rodgers told Sky Sports. “I’m just pleased to have got the chance.’’
