Following a decision by the New York Racing Association board of directors at their meeting last Friday, Aqueduct will cut back from five to four days of live racing a week beginning next Wednesday, Feb. 6.

The policy of no live racing on Wednesday will continue for the rest of the winter meet over the inner dirt track at the Big A, including Feb. 6, Feb. 13, Feb. 14 (a Thursday), Feb. 27, March 6 and March 13 – a total of six racing days.

The cutback was supported by the N.Y. Thoroughbred Horsemen’s Association and approved by the N.Y. State Racing and Wagering Board.
