Argentina legend Diego Maradona was taken to the hospital Tuesday after Argentina’s dramatic, 2-1 win against Nigeria, according to ESPN Deportes. Why he was taken to the hospital is unclear.

Maradona, regarded by many as the best soccer player ever, acted erratically during the match, as he danced with a Nigeria fan before the match, fell asleep during the first half and celebrated Marcos Rojo’s 86th-minute winner with a middle-fingered outburst toward Nigeria fans in the crowd.

Rojo’s late volley followed Lionel Messi’s first-half strike and sent the team into the knockout phase of the tournament.

Argentina will face France in the Round of 16 this Saturday.
