Arrangements for Jeanette Nichols, the mother of Boys & Girls standout Malik Nichols, are as follows:

A wake is set for 9 a.m. Friday morning at New Frontier Baptist Church, located at 2132 Dean Street, between Saratoga Avenue and Howard Avenue in Brooklyn. The funeral follows at 10 a.m.

Jeannette Nichols tragically died Friday, Dec. 31 at the age of 46 and Malik played in her honor on Sunday, leading the Kangaroos to a memorable 62-61 victory over Philadelphia Public School champion Imhotep Charter (Pa.), in the fourth annual Villa Holiday Classic at the Palestra.
