After a summer in which he matured on the court and was poised to emerge as one of the city’s top basketball players, Cardozo’s Cameron Tyler suffered a setback.

The 5-foot-11 senior guard broke a bone in his right (shooting) forearm and sprained his wrist after suffering a fall during a scrimmage against Christ The King on Monday. He is expected to be out from three to five weeks.

“It’s a very small fracture and it’s above the wrist,” said Cardozo head coach Ron Naclerio. “It could have been worse.”
