England soccer legend David Beckham and his wife will donate to charity any money recovered from a woman who claimed the LA Galaxy player had a threesome with her and another escort, The Sun reported today.
Irma Nici, 26, was served with a $25 million (£16 million) writ over claims she made in the U.S. lifestyle magazine In Touch.
She claims Beckham, 35, paid her for sex in London and New York in 2007.
The newspaper reported that the damages the soccer ace is demanding will go straight to the Victoria and David Beckham Charitable Trust.
A friend of Beckham and his ex-Spice Girl wife branded Nici a “lying harlot” and confirmed the fortune would go towards helping sick kids.
“David doesn’t want a penny of this woman’s dirty money, but that doesn’t mean some good can’t come out of this,” the friend said.
Beckham is so determined to prove in court that Nici lied about meeting him that he is prepared to voluntarily have his private life pored over in front of a U.S. jury.
His writ — slapped on the busty brunette Monday — cites libel, slander and the intentional infliction of emotional stress in pursuit of profit.
The U.S. magazine that printed her lurid claims is named as a co-defendant along with its editor Michelle Lee and the scandal sheet’s German publishers Bauer.
Billionaire boss Heinz Bauer is understood to have received a letter from the Beckhams’ lawyers demanding to know why publication went ahead despite the magazine being warned the Bosnian-born prostitute was telling a pack of lies.
Nici has been unable to provide a shred of evidence that the ex-England soccer captain paid her $10,000 for sex.
She also claimed a fellow vice girl joined them for a three-in-a-bed session — but cannot even prove that the second prostitute exists.
