Racing was canceled Thursday at Belmont Park due to heavy rains, high winds, and the fact NYRA did not want to risk damaging the main track before Saturday’s 11-race Breeders’ Cup preview card, which includes the Grade 1 Jockey Club Gold Cup, Beldame and Vosburgh stakes.
