What could turn the stoic face of college basketball into a star-gazing teenager? Beyonce, of course.
Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski described meeting the singer after introducing LeBron James as Sports Illustrated’s Sportsman of the Year three years ago.

My street cred is just bouncing high,” said a laughing Krzyzewski during a town hall meeting on WRAL in Raleigh, according to The Sporting News.
But Krzyzewski, who coached Duke to another national title this spring, lamented momentarily missing out on a meeting with Beyonce until he tracked her down and recruited her for a soon-to-be viral photo.
“But I didn’t get to meet her, so I went up and said, ‘I’m Coach K,’ and she says ‘I just heard you speak for 10 minutes. I know who you are,'” he said.
“So I felt like 13, and then I asked her — something I hardly ever ask anyone to do — would you please take a picture with me?”
Krzyzewski added his face was so red because “it looks like me being petrified.”
