Seton Hall couldn’t have entered the Big East tournament at a better time. The Pirates finished up their trying season with double-digit wins over St. John’s and Marquette, while Rutgers closed out with losses in five of its final six games, only narrowly defeating last-place DePaul. Seton Hall has owned the intrastate rivalry recently, winning five of their past six matchups, including a five-point win in Piscataway on Feb. 12.

Take the Pirates (-1.5) and the best player on the floor in senior guard Jeremy Hazell.

As for the nightcap, expect Marquette (-6), who already should be in the NCAA tournament, to solidify any doubt with a convincing win over Providence.
