Big sweep for Hondo
Hondo took his broom out of the closet and put it to good use yesterday, sweeping with the Reds and Giants to slash the negative numeral to 1,565 mondays.
Today, Mr. Aitch will put 10 units on the D’backs with Cahill on the mound. Also, he will bother Harang for some support — 10 units on the Dodgers.

Somebody forgot to tell Paolo Gabriele, the pope’s butler, about life’s “don’ts:” You don’t urinate into the wind, you don’t get in Obama’s way when he’s spiking the football over the killing of Bin Laden, you don’t bet on Hondo’s picks, and you sure as Hell don’t leak the pope’s personal documents. Hope you like the heat, Paolo … MSNBC weekend gasbag Chris Hayes said yesterday he is “uncomfortable” using the word “heroes” to describe soldiers who died in war, because “it’s so rhetorically proximate to justification for more war.” That statement is so rhetorically proximate to stupidity that Hondo is totally comfortable calling Hayes a complete idiot.
