Birmingham, England – Birmingham City have secured the services of Jonathan Spector as the U.S. National Team member signed a two-year contract with the English club Tuesday.
Spector, 25, has previously played for West Ham United, Charlton Athletic, and Manchester United, and can play various midfield and defensive positions.
“Jonathan is a player who has got experience of playing in the Premier League and as an international for America so he has good credentials,” Birmingham manager Chris Hughton told the club’s website. “And at 25, he’s at a very good age.
“He is versatile and can play in a few positions. I think he will be a big asset for this club.”
