1ST RACE – Steady rains made the track condition sloppy and all turf races were switched to the main track. Known Rhythm broke slowly, trailed the field early, made a wide move on the turn to reach contention and drew off from favored French Bread in the stretch to gain the victory.

2ND RACE – Escorp stalked the pace while wide and took over the lead in the stretch. She then was all out to hold off a fast closing Karakorum’s Lisa, who was between horses while stalking the pace and then was moving well on the inside in the stretch. Favored Threedeed battled for the early lead through the fog but had nothing left in the stretch.

6TH RACE – Paugus Bay stalked the early pace, but then Edgar Prado saw a huge opening on the rail and decided to go for the lead on the far turn. Favored Like Her a Lot was setting the pace and then angled inside to put Paugus Bay in tight quarters on the turn, but Paugus Bay was strong and powered her way through to gain the lead at the top of the stretch. She then drew away to an impressive victory. Miss Kitty Cat closed well on the outside to gain the place spot over the favorite.

7TH RACE – For the second time in her last three starts, Blue Holiday went from looking like an easy winner to burning up the tickets of the chalk players. After stalking the early pace set by Queen Carson, Blue Holiday made a strong middle move and took over the lead at the top of the stretch. But then Queen Carson came back on the inside to regain the lead and splash on to victory. After seeing Home On the Hill do the same thing to Blue Holiday two starts back, you’ve got to wonder how much heart Blue Holiday has in her.

9TH RACE – Favored Bonneville pressed the early pace set by Bensonhurst’s Best while three wide. Turning for home she had dead aim on the pacesetter, but Bensonhurst dug in gamely and held off the favorite for the victory. Stylish Mission rated off the pace but finished full of run on the outside to gain the show spot. Spavinaw pressed the early pace while between horses and then was squeezed back turning for home, showing nothing afterwards. Belongs to J D was a late scratch at the gate.
