A popular bodybuilder and actor who starred in the Netflix series “Dogs of Berlin” has died after suffering a heart attack at the gym, according to reports.

Berlin-based fitness influencer Vittorio “Vito” Pirbazari, 44, suffered a fatal heart attack while running on a treadmill, his friend, Said Ibrahim, wrote on Instagram, according to the German newspaper Bild.

A day before his death, the dad shared a photo of himself getting back to training after a lengthy break caused by a pectoral muscle tear.

The Instagram page for the film “Haps,” in which Pirbazari played a prisoner, also shared the news of his death, writing, “Thank you for your warmth, your creative spirit, and for being a part of our journey.”

The muscleman starred in the Netflix series “Dog of Berlin” as Daher Tarik, and appeared in the German crime series “Tatort.”

Pirbazari was also part of a YouTube fitness crew called “Hardgainer,” which is popular in Germany, the newspaper noted.

He leaves behind one son, according to the newspaper.
