NFL.com reports that the Cardinals and Anquan Boldin continue to work on a new contract for the unhappy wide receiver.
The Web site quotes Cardinals president Michael Bidwill, who was at the NFL Spring Meetings in Florida: “We’ve worked hard at getting Anquan Boldin extended and we’ll continue to do those things.”
Agent Drew Rosenhaus, also at the meetings, said, “We can work out a deal with the Cardinals and we have put forth an offer to them.” Rosenhaus says the offer is for less than $10 million a season but “consistent with the top receivers in the game.”
Boldin has been on the trading block since shortly after the Cardinals’ Super Bowl loss to the Steelers in February.
