BOSTON – Jason Lawrence scored the go-ahead goal for the second straight week, and Boston University sealed it with two late short-handed goals as the Terriers beat Northeastern 5-2 in the 57th annual Beanpot last night.

It was 29th Beanpot title for Boston University, who entered its second consecutive week ranked No. 1 in the country. Nick Bonino, Zach Cohen, David Warsofsky, and Colin Wilson also scored for Boston University (22-5-1). The goals by Bonino, Warsofsky and Wilson were all short-handed.

Boston College defeated Harvard, 4-3, in the consolation game.
