The Boston Globe reports that despite some early setbacks in rehab from knee surgery, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is “on track to be fine for the opening game of the season.”

“Based on anybody else doing an ACL rehab, he’s going right along. He had a shaky start, but he’s caught up,” a medical source told the paper.

Brady was injured in the 2008 season opener. He had surgery to repair ligament damage Oct. 6.

Earlier this month, Brady’s personal coach expressed concern that the injury could affect the player’s throwing motion.
