Who’s a bum now?
A 1955 Brooklyn Dodgers World Championship ring sold for a whopping $45,049 at auction Friday.
The 14-karat white-gold ring was presented to visiting clubhouse attendant George Grafton when the fabled “Boys of Summer” defeated the Yankees for their one and only championship before moving to Los Angeles, with a legendary roster including trailblazer Jackie Robinson.
The ritzy piece features the team’s logo on one side, Grafton’s name on the other — and a diamond set into a Dodger-blue stone at the center with “Brooklyn World Champions” written around it.
