Jose Canseco’s sequel on steroids, entitled “Vindicated,” will be released March 31.

Canseco is working with Pablo Fenjves, the ghost writer of “If I Did It,” in which O.J. Simpson gave an imaginary confession to how he would have killed Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman.

“Juiced,” Canseco’s 2005 book, described his steroids use and implicated Mark McGwire, among others.

The sequel originally was to be a collaboration with Don Yaeger, a former Sports Illustrated associate editor. Yeager withdrew, as did the original publisher, Berkley Books, an imprint of Penguin Group USA. Canseco’s sequel now will be published by Simon Spotlight Entertainment, a division of Simon & Schuster.
