ABSTRACT:
The cost of going to see one of New York’s nine professional sports teams play has skyrocketed twice as fast as other popular entertainment choices over the last four years, a survey by The Post reveals.
Tickets and related items at Madison Square Garden, Yankee Stadium and other venues around town have risen nearly 40 percent since 1995, that’s twice the 19 percent increase in ticket prices experienced by Manhattan moviegoers.
