The NHL today is expected to announce that the Blues have been purchased by Sports Capital Partners, a Manhattan-based investment group headed by ex-Garden president Dave Checketts, The Post has learned.

The Blues have been bleeding millions in recent seasons and the team’s owner, the Laurie Family, had been in negotiations with SCP since October. Among Checketts’ partners are Mike McCarthy, former president of MSG Network, and Ken Munoz, the Garden’s former general counsel.
