The Post’s Dan Martin tracks yesterday’s best Olympic performances by Rangers, Devils and Islanders.

ZACH PARISE

USA

The Americans got 43 shots on Jonas Hiller, and Parise was the only one to beat the Swiss goalie. Parise pounced on a rebound of a Brian Rafalski shot on the power play and beat Hiller early in the third to open the scoring, then scored an empty-netter to give the U.S. a 2-0 win in the quarterfinals yesterday. Parise had four shots in 17:08 in the victory, which moved the U.S. within one win from Sunday’s gold medal game.

JAMIE LANGENBRUNNER

USA

Parise’s Devils teammate also had four shots in the U.S. win and finished with a plus-1. With 19:55 of ice time, Langenbrunner played more than any American forward in the victory.

MARK STREIT

Switzerland

Streit’s Olympics came to an end in the quarterfinals for the second straight time. The Isles’ defenseman closed his Games by logging 29:05 on the ice, once again more than anyone else in the game, and had one shot on goal.
