MARIAN GABORIK, Slovakia

Gaborik didn’t have to do much as Slovakia rolled over Latvia 6-0. The Rangers forward had four shots in 16 minutes of ice time as he continues his solid play.

MARK STREIT, Switzerland

The Islanders’ defenseman spent a team-high 27:24 on the ice against Norway yesterday. The Swiss came out with a 5-4 victory thanks in part to Streit’s assist on a go-ahead, power-play goal in the third.

OLLI JOKINEN, Finland

The Rangers’ Jokinen had an assist on Kimmo Timonen’s power-play goal and two shots in 12:50 as Finland cruised to a 5-0 win over Germany late Friday night.
