HALLANDALE, Fla. — Jorge “Chop Chop” Chavez, the leading rider in New York the past six years, notched his sixth straight winner yesterday.

Chavez, who won the 1999 Eclipse Award as the nation’s top jockey, won the final two races Wednesday at Gulfstream aboard Lily’s Affair ($7.80) and Exclusive Dawn ($5.20).

He swept the first three yesterday with Holy Prize ($5.20), Deafman ($10.40) and Polish Moe ($2.80). After skipping the fourth, Chavez won the fifth on Silver Springtime ($8.60).
