Rain and flooding left the CHSAA Class A boys soccer league mostly idle Friday.
Games between Monsignor McClancy and St. Joseph by the Sea; Mount St. Michael and Salesian; Bishop Ford and St. Edmund; and St. Agnes and Cathedral Prep were all postponed to a later date due to the inclement weather.
McClancy-Sea has already been rescheduled for Wednesday and Ford and St. Edmund will meet Oct. 4. The other two games do not yet have a makeup date. Additionally, the Ivy Prep League showdown between Horace Mann and Fieldston in The Bronx was also postponed.

Hackley 3, Riverdale 2: Nat Cramer Gibbs and John Wallbrnik scored for Riverdale (1-5-0, 0-5-0 Ivy Prep League) in defeat. Hackley (4-1-0) remains tied atop the Ivy League with Collegiate, Fieldston and Horace Mann in the loss column.
Staten Island Academy 5, Martin Luther 0: Victor Barbosa had two goals and an assist, Michael Langford added a goal and an assist and Miguel Avvento and Jenuz Fteja also scored for Staten Island Academy (2-3-1, 1-0-1) in the PSAA.
