Captain Claudio calls it quits

According to a source within MLS, Claudio Reyna is retiring.

The Red Bulls midfielder has called a press conference tomorrow at St. Benedict’s where he is expected to announce that he’s caslling it quits on his 14-year pro career.

That would free up a designated player slot, something that Red Bull fans will rejoice over. They also have a gaping hole at striker after the sale of Jozy Altidore to Villarreal. Hmmmmmmm….
