The Twitterverse wasn’t much kinder to CM Punk than Mickey Gall.
The overmatched former WWE star dropped his first mixed martial arts fight at UFC 203 – a quick first-round defeat by a rear naked choke to Gall in Cleveland Saturday night.
Though there was plenty of jabs taken (both on the internet and in the fight) and there were some people who respected Punk (real name Phil Brooks) following his dream and stepping in the “real” fighting world of the UFC.
