The men’s Olympic bike road race was so exciting, this one spectator couldn’t control himself.

With just over 15 kilometers to go in the race on Saturday afternoon, a spectator standing on the side of the road decided to chase the bikers as the rode past, screaming the whole time. He surprisingly kept up as they went up a hill, and then they lost him as the course went downhill.

The race already had a bit of intrigue, as an unattended package near the Copacabana finish line was blown up by local authorities. No one was hurt in the controlled explosion. The race was later won by Belgium’s Greg Van Avermaet, with Jakob Fuglsang of Denmark finishing second and Rafał Majka of Poland taking third.
