FC Dallas keeper Dario Sala is out for at least 4-6 weeks after having surgery today to remove part of a torn medial meniscus in his left knee.
He started and made three saves in the season-opening loss to the Fire this past Saturday. Last season, the 34-year-old posted a career-high seven clean sheets and matched a career-high 28 starts. The fifth-year Dallas goalkeeper’s 18 career shutouts are good for second in club history behind Matt Jordan (30).
I know a lot of you guys have been keeping a closer eye on the Hoops since the Dave van den Bergh trade. What do you think of Sala going down? Check in with us….
