Two things are certain as the Leafs arrive at the Meadowlands tonight for the first leg of a home-and-home that swings back to Toronto tomorrow:

That these two teams don’t like each other one bit and that, win or lose, the Devils probably won’t score more than a goal.

Bitter enemies because of Tie Domi’s cheap shot two years ago, there is no love lost between these two teams. But with their grip on first place getting slick and their goal scoring on the slide, the Devils have bigger problems to keep them worried.

They continue to struggle to find the net and the Devils, 2-1 losers to Florida on their home ice on Wednesday, extended their futile offensive-zone efforts to three straight games with just a single goal scored in regulation.
