DIKEMBE SNAG IN CRAWFORD DEAL
Isiah Thomas’ insistence at keeping Dikembe Mutombo out of the Jamal Crawford sign-and-trade deal with the Bulls appears the only holdup, according to a league source.
Thomas has taken Mutombo off the table and added Moochie Norris, whom the Bulls don’t want. Thomas is working on a deal that would include Frank Williams, Othella Harrington, Shandon Anderson and Norris for Crawford, Jerome Williams and Eddie Robinson.
“At the pace they’re going, they could have a deal,” Crawford agent Aaron Goodwin said. Crawfold told The Chicago Tribune yesterday, “It’d be bittersweet if I left because I love Chicago but playing for Isiah and the Knicks would be exciting.”
