Christ the King made it 23 straight Brooklyn/Queens Diocesan titles yesterday, but not without some drama.

Playing again without Sky Lindsay, the Lady Royals had to overcome a late eight-point deficit to come back and beat Mary Louis, 54-50, at CTK.

Lorin Dixon, on her way to UConn, led the way with 27 points, 11 rebounds and six steals as CTK used a 14-1 run to overtake Mary Louis. The Lady Royals move on to face St. Michael’s on Wednesday in the state playoffs.
