LOWDOWN: Dakota Phone lost 18 straight before winning the San Diego Handicap in July. Counting that win, he’s won two of his past four starts, including a last-to-first score in the Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile last out.

LAST WEEK: At Aqueduct, Believe in A.P. ran second at even-money in the Demoiselle, paying $2.40 to place; Girolamo (7-2) was third, beaten a half-length in the Cigar Mile, paying $3.10 to show. At Churchill, Aide was fourth at 8-5 in the Golden Rod.
