Here on Memorial Day, it just warms my heart to see this scene: U.S. National Team midfielders Maurice Edu and DaMarcus Beasley celebrating at a packed Ibrox after winning the Scottish Premier League crown earlier at Tannadice. They took a victory lap waving the Stars ‘N Stripes and repping America. Good work, my brothers.

Rangers thrashed Dundee United 3-0, and Edu went the full 90. He’s going a long way toward establishing himself as the first-choice starter. Unfortunately, it wasn’t all good news coming from Rangers, as militant Rangers fans beat a Catholic man to death in North Ireland.

I swear some people are just too stupid to be allowed to reproduce. Now 49-year-old Kevin McDaid is never going to reach 50, and his widow Evelyn got beaten as well. And for what?
