Mike (Doc) Emrick, widely considered the best play-by-play man in hockey, has renewed his contract with Madison Square Garden Network/Fox Sports New York and will remain the TV voice of the Devils on FSNY.

Emrick had recently been recruited by ABC/ESPN as a play-by-player on the NHL’s national telecasts.
