Shock Radio is back on WFAN.

After being let go by the station for poor punctuality during his rookie season, Jeremy Shockey will be a weekly contributor to the FAN this year.

During his rookie season, Mike Francesa and Chris Russo essentially fired Shockey after he was often late and even missed some paid guest spots. Last year, Shockey didn’t have a paid weekly radio outlet.

This year, Shockey will be on once a week (on a day still to be determined) with Sid Rosenberg and Jody McDonald.

Although, the spots with Mike & the Mad Dog occasionally produced some news, there were no real thoughts about Shockey returning to the afternoon show.

“It wasn’t an option either side considered,” FAN GM Lee Davis said.
