Luke Wilcox, a third-round pick of the Yankees in the 1995 draft, returned to the organization yesterday when the 26-year-old outfielder signed a minor league deal.

Wilcox, who was taken in the 1997 expansion draft by the Devil Rays, hit .328 with nine homers and 34 RBIs for Durham (Triple-A) and .270 with 20 homers and 64 RBIs for Orlando (Double-A) last year.

Wilcox is the 19th non-roster player invited to spring training by the Yankees.
