The Jim Fassel interview express rolled on yesterday, with Fassel meeting with the Cardinals’ top brass in Tempe, Ariz. According to Steve Rosner, one of Fassel’s agents, the meeting was “very positive.”

Fassel had been scheduled to fly to Chicago to meet with the Bears on Monday, but that won’t happen just yet. Instead, Fassel will return home today to New Jersey and meet with the Bills on Tuesday in Buffalo. The Bears want to interview Fassel later in the week.

The whirlwind tour began with Fassel meeting for 12 hours with Redskins owner Dan Snyder and vice president of football operations Vinny Cerrato. Fassel, fired by the Giants after a 4-12 season and an eight-game losing streak, could have his pick of head-coaching jobs when this process sorts itself out.
