Yonkers Raceway hosted a pair of Triple Crown races Saturday night, and when they hit the wire, the $500,000 Yonkers Trot went to Marion Marauder while the $500,000 Messenger Stakes was won by Racing Hill.

Marion Marauder (1-5 favorite), driven by Scott Zeron and trained by Paula Wellwood, won the second jewel in the Trotting Triple Crown over Smalltownthrowdown in 1:56 1/5. Marion Marauder paid $2.40 to win.

Racing Hill (1-9 favorite), driven by Brett Miller and trained by Tony Alagna, cruised to a 1 ¹/₄-length victory over Stonebridge Beach in 1:53. Racing Hill paid $2.10 in winning the second jewel in the Pacing Triple Crown.

This was Zeron’s first win in the Yonkers Trot and Miller’s first win in the Messenger.
