If the Vikings fall short, Favre, signed for 2010 at $13 million, could play one more season — at least.

The Web site writes, “It would seem satisfying enough for Favre if he gets the Vikings to a Super Bowl that there would be no point in returning.

“On the other hand, a rumor has surfaced that Favre recently purchased land in Preston, Minn., near Rochester, for deer hunting. That might be an indicator he intends to stay a while.”
