The Post’s weekly CHSFL live blog takes us to Coffey Field on the campus of Fordham University for a Week 5 meeting between undefeated Fordham Prep and Holy Cross Saturday night.

With its strong and stout defense, versatile offense and spectacular special teams, Fordham Prep is off to a 4-0 start and is ranked No. 2 in the CHSFL and No. 3 in the city by The Post. While the Rams have opened eyes in the first month of the season, head coach Pete Gorynski isn’t quite ready to crown his team title contenders.

No. 6 in the city and No. 5 in the CHSFL, Holy Cross is looking to bounce back from an embarrassing 38-14 home loss to Iona Prep, which dropped its record to 2-2. The Knights always seem to fare well the week following a loss. Will that be the case Saturday night?
