Queens native Ede Egharevba, a talented and smooth 6-foot-6 wing and former Thomas Edison star, has opted to transfer from Wichita State before playing his first game, Egharevba told The Post. He will finish out the semester in Kansas before heading off to his next destination.

Already, Egharevba has drawn interest from St. Peters’, Siena and Hofstra. He initially picked Wichita State over Hofstra, St. Peter’s, Rice and Southern Methodist. He averaged 18 points and 10 rebounds while doing a postgraduate year at Mack Academy (N.C.) last year and scored 19 per game as a senior at Edison.

“It just wasn’t the right fit for me,” Egharevba said of Wichita State. “Sometimes people make decisions and realize it was a mistake later down the line.”
