SACREMENTO – Fran Fraschilla turned down the San Diego State job yesterday.

Fraschilla was the Aztecs’ second choice behind Rick Majerus. Majerus had a contract written up and was ready to sign Sunday night, but at the last minute turned down San Diego State because it was too far from his mother’s home in Milwaukee.

Fraschilla, meanwhile, has moved up the line for the Georgia job and is Southwest Missouri State’s top choice. He also figures to be a candidate for several other jobs and will make a decision after the Final Four.
