Now that the Cubs will be prime time Tuesday, the Yanks will get a rare postseason afternoon start.

Game 1 of the ALDS against the Twins will start at 1:06 p.m. on Tuesday, while Game 2 is slated for 8:18 p.m. Thursday.

“I like day games,” Joe Torre said. “It’s a throwback to the old days.”

This season the Yankees are 33-26 in day games, 19-17 at home and 14-9 on the road.
