Junior guard Isis Alonso had 20 points, including five 3-pointers, to lead John F. Kennedy to a 68-55 home win against Truman in PSAL Bronx AA girls basketball Monday. The Knights beat the Mustangs, 47-44, in both teams’ league opener.
Sophomore guard Leshauna Phinazee had 13 points and 12 rebounds for Kennedy (6-2, 5-1 Bronx ‘AA’). Truman is 6-5, 2-4.
